  • Can I layaway on an item I want to get?
    Yes. We offer layaway for items above EC$250. Anything less would have to be paid in cash. Layway however is not a right. It can be denied for whatever reason we deem appropriate. LAYAWAY POLICY: Customers can layaway on any item sold by Gadget Clinic whether in stock or not. The minimum deposit required to initiate the layaway agreement is 30%. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. The layaway period will not exceed 30 days from the initial deposit. Upon full payment the customer is required to secure possession of the purchased item. The item IS NOT given to the customer until FULL PAYMENT is received. The previous receipt is required to be presented to staff when making further payments unitl completion. Should the layaway period exceed 30 days after initial deposit the layaway agreement becomes invalid and the item is placed back in inventory to be sold. All payments made by the customer will be refunded via store credit after being subject to a 15% penalty restocking fee for breaching contract. This 15% cannot be used for store credit or exchange.This layaway policy DOES NOT apply to special orders or customized items. There is NO REFUND on those items.
  • Is my item under warranty, and if so for how long?"
    All purchases are under warranty. The general warranty period is 60 days after purchase. This is double the time given by online vendors such as Amazon.com. Warranty DOES NOT cover damage by the customer ONLY manufacturer defect. Here is the process of addressing an item under warranty when there is damage or defect: 1. The item is assessed to see if it can be fixed without any major alterations to the phone 2. If the itme can be fixed without replacement then that will be the course of action 3. If the item cannot be fixed then it will be replaced with a similar item, one of equal value, or for store credit or cash refund. Whatever option is appropriate based on the circumstances. Repairs are under warranty as well for the same 60 day period....
  • What comes with the purchase of a phone or tablet?
    We provide the items that were orginally in the packaging. Most times we also offer screen protectors and skins or cases for FREE and even have promotional items bundled with certain gadgets for special sales events.
  • Do you buyback phones?
    We will be implementing a buyback program as an incentive . This program will afford customers the ability to get major discounts of up to EC$300 when they "sell" their smartphones to us. Only store credit is given towards the purchase of a new smartphone or tablet for this program however. There will be restrictions on the type of phones eligible for the buy-back program as well as the items available for store credit.
  • Where are you located and when do you close?
    Our main store operations are located on Friars Hill Road, Mandolin Place and our hours of operation are as follows:
  • Do you do special orders of phones?
    Yes. We ONLY do special orders for phones that we do not stock regularly. The price quoted is not just based on what is seen online by vendors such as Amazon. The FULL amount quoted would have to be agreed upon and at least 75% paid BEFORE the order is made. Special orders will arrive with our regular monthly or bi-monthly shipment.
  • Can I get back my money if I layaway on an item and don't want it again?
    No. There are no exceptions to this rule. We will only allow store credit in limited circumstances.
  • Can I layaway on a repair job?
    Repair jobs are handled differently than purchases. There is NO LAYAWAY available for repair work. There is a 50% depost required BEFORE any repair work is undertaken and the customer has 14 days to pay the balance or the item will be sold to recoup the balance owed to Gadget Clinic.
  • If I order an item when should I expect it to arrive?
    Items wil lbe received in the next available shipment depending on the location and shipping time of the vendor/supplier. The time can take anywhere from about 10 days to 2 months. We receive weekly orders from suppliers.
  • Are there discounts available for those purchasing two phones?
    Yes. There are discounts available on a limited basis depending on the value of the item. DIscounts usually are no more than 10%.
